StudioSYNC is a platform that connects fitness studios with substitute instructors. The service is currently in early access. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how you can exercise your rights.

Data we collect

• Account data. When you sign up, our authentication provider (Clerk) processes your name, email address, and login credentials on our behalf.
• Profile data. Information you choose to provide: studio details, instructor certifications, availability, and location, used to match studios with instructors.
• Usage data. Basic technical logs (pages visited, actions performed) used to operate and improve the service.
• Cookies. We use cookies required for authentication and session management. A theme preference is stored locally in your browser. We do not use advertising cookies.

How we use your data

• Provide the service: matching, scheduling, and account management.
• Send transactional notifications (email, and SMS where enabled).
• Maintain safety and trust, including certification verification.
• Improve the product during early access.

We do not sell your personal data.

Data sharing

We share data only with service providers needed to run the platform, such as authentication (Clerk), hosting, and messaging providers. These providers process data under their own privacy and security commitments. Studio and instructor profile information may be visible to other users where the product requires it (for example, during a match).

Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

Your rights
